Working from home can only go two ways, either you have much more time to try something new or you now have no time and work is going crazy. In either case, staying active and getting your sweat on while staying at home is important. While you might not have the time or motivation that you had at the gym, here are some resistance workouts of varying intensities and duration to get you back in the groove.

This workout is 20 intensive minutes which will challenge you to go as hard as you possibly can. Whitney is super clear in her instructions and makes it easier to attempt these moves. The timers on screen definitely make it easier to push through each move for a great whole body burn.

This workout makes it easy to take a quarantine frequent, the couch and turn it into the focus of your workout. Cassey is extremely motivational and provides a clear explanation of each move so that each person (beginner or advanced) can perform each action to their fullest, all while not even having to turn off their Netflix binge.

 

 

3. 5 min Simple Full Body Workout Using Just A Bench (Iskra Lawrence)

 

Iskra Lawrence is a huge advocate for body positivity and self-care. This workout allows you to put in just five minutes of your day to get moving before, after or during your hard day of work. While she does use a bench, it can easily be substituted for household items such as a chair, stool or the side of a bid. Just make sure that you’re using is steady.

4. 10 Minute Abdominal Workout (HASit)

HASfit makes it feel like you’re in a workout class and these trainers are right in your room with you. They clearly explain scaled up and scaled down versions in the 10 killer minutes of abs throughout this video. They’re longer format workouts are great if you have the time and really want to be drenched by the time you’re done.

5. 15min Thighs & Cardio AT HOME PILATES *toning leg burner* (Sarahs Day)

This workout will really make you question how such simple and clean movements can really make you work so hard. You may be sore while starting out with her, but the clear instructions will keep you from getting confused. These workouts are just as pleasing to do as the results they provide if followed regularly.
