The controversy has been more about the fact that working out has either been very easy or very hard to do, due to the fluctuating mental states the pandemic has caused.

Kayla Itsines is an Australian personal trainer who has amassed a huge following on social media. She is the driving force behind the Bikini Body Training Company, SWEAT, and author of the Bikini Body Guide (BBG). Kayla has been a major influencer since day 1.

Kayla started off and still does a lot on her YouTube channel and has some great programs set up. BBG in particular has almost a cult-like following and here “anyone-can-do-it-approach is super motivating.

Michelle comes from a healthcare background and turned her life around becoming one of the biggest fitness influencers in the game. Her short motivational videos are sure to get you off Instagram and onto your feet.

Bani J built her following post her stint on Roadies and is just an overall badass Indian woman. Her balance between diet, fitness routines and her lifestyle is super aspirational. Her page is home to lots of Indian weightlifters and divas alike.

Massy Arias is the CEO of Tru Supplements; a brand she created to support her fitness trainer lifestyle. Based out of Los Angeles, her snappy workout videos are a good mix of different workout styles and keep her followers motivated to keep trying something new.

She is constantly using her channel to speak about how fitness has helped her through her depression, something super important in these trying times.

5. Jonelle Lewis

Jonelle Lewis is all about breaking the aura around yoga and making it accessible to all. She shares a lot of motivational content alongside the yoga inspo. While she does have fewer followers than the others on this list, in our opinion her voice is just as powerful, if not more.
